What We Expect
Be Respectful & Kind
Engage in conversations that are civil and constructive. Disagreements are fine when handled respectfully. Personal attacks, insults, or demeaning behavior have no place here.
Be Genuine
Present yourself honestly. Misrepresentation, impersonation, or using deceptive profiles undermines trust and violates our community spirit.
Be Considerate
Remember there's a real person on the other side of the screen. Think before you speak, and consider how your words might affect others.
Report Concerns
If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines, use the report feature. Help us keep the community safe by speaking up when you see something wrong.
What We Do NOT Allow
Explicit or Adult Content
Sexually explicit material, nudity, or sexually suggestive conversations are strictly prohibited. Vegas Chat is for respectful conversation, not adult content.
Harassment & Bullying
Any form of harassment, intimidation, bullying, or targeted abuse is unacceptable. This includes repeated unwanted contact after being asked to stop.
Hate Speech
We do not tolerate content that attacks, threatens, or degrades others based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.
Violence & Threats
Threats of violence, glorification of violence, or promotion of harmful behavior are strictly forbidden. This includes threats toward individuals or groups.
Illegal Activities
Discussions promoting or facilitating illegal activities are not allowed. This includes drug use, theft, fraud, or other criminal behaviors.
Spam & Solicitation
Do not use Vegas Chat for commercial promotion, advertising, or solicitation of any kind. This includes sending repetitive messages, promoting external services, or requesting money.
Personal Information Sharing
Do not share other people's personal information without their explicit consent (doxxing). Also avoid pressuring users to share their personal details.
Impersonation
Do not pretend to be someone else—whether a celebrity, another user, or a representative of the platform. Authenticity matters.
Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Warning: First-time minor violations receive a warning
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations lead to temporary bans
- Permanent Ban: Severe violations or repeated offenses result in permanent removal
Our moderation team reviews reports and makes enforcement decisions based on severity, context, and user history. We aim for fairness while prioritizing community safety.
Appeals Process
If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by contacting [email protected] with your username and explanation. We review appeals carefully and respond within 72 hours.
Updates to Guidelines
These guidelines may evolve as our community grows. We'll notify users of significant changes and update this page accordingly. Continued use of Vegas Chat after updates constitutes acceptance.
